Partners
Kevin Rowland, Partner
B.Com., CPA
Kevin joined DSR in August 2003 as a senior accountant. Impressed with the practise’s business model and his desire to help clients make running their business easy he became a Partner two years later. Kevin manages a team of accountants who provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax and business consulting services to clients.
Kevin has over 20 years’ experience in public practice accounting positions in Sydney and the Central Coast. Prior to joining DSR Kevin worked in Western Sydney doing tax and accounting engagements. His broad knowledge and experience in business advisory services and tax consulting, including budgets & cashflows and business valuations allows him to analyse the “big picture” so his clients are confident and equipped to make decisions about their financial future. Kevin’s accounting experience includes the health care sector, retail industry and the building & construction industry.
Kevin graduated from University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Commerce and is a registered tax agent and a registered Self-managed super fund (SMSF) auditor. Kevin is a member of CPA Australia and the National Tax & Accountants Association (NTAA) .
Simon Mulqueeny, Partner
B.Bus., JP, FCPA
Simon grew up locally in Terrigal on the Central Coast but moved to the city in the early 1990’s – where he worked with several accounting firms in Sydney’s CBD. It was there that he developed his knowledge in business advice, tax consulting, budgets and cashflows.
Eventually, the appeal of more space and a relaxed lifestyle prompted a move back to the Central Coast in 2006 (with a young family in tow). Simon joined DSR Partners in 2009, when he came on board as a partner.
Away from work Simon is a family guy. You will find him on weekends out and about with Corinne on the walks of the Central Coast or just “being busy trying to ignore the chores around the house”. Simon can be seen walking the streets around The Entrance almost each lunchtime with his hat, sunglasses, and ear buds.

• Advanced Diploma of Accounting from SIT.

Taylor Hulls, Partner
B.Com., JP, CA
After beginning his career in Sydney and Newcastle with a background in Taxation, Business advisory and Finance, Taylor transitioned back to the coast lifestyle and continued his career at a local firm, eventually joining DSR in early 2019 and came on board as a partner of the firm as of July 2020.
Taylors’ 10 years of experience allows him to advise clients in the areas of business advisory, tax consulting, business valuations and start-ups. He takes an approach of reviewing your business and family tax affairs as a whole and provides tailored (pardon the pun) advice to suit your particular business needs. Taylor and his team take a keen interest in your day-to-day operations and provide structural advice so that you can spend more time on the tasks that keep your business growing now and into the future.
Taylor’s professional experience includes the medical sector, building and construction and professional services.
Away from work you will find Taylor spending time with his wife, young daughter and two pups walking the beaches of Copacabana, grabbing a coffee at local café and spending time with family and friends.
Taylor graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Accounting), is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, is a Registered Tax Agent and a Justice of the Peace.
